I have a special place in my heart for alfresco dining, especially while camping, and even more so as the leaves begin to turn.

There’s something magical about fall and the way it inspires such warm, inviting tablescapes.

Last year, a few of us went glamping in a beautiful forest, and of course, I couldn’t resist setting a stunning table that paid homage to the season.

To capture the essence of fall, I started with a thick, cozy tablecloth that set the tone.

I then incorporated tree trunk candle holders and wooden chopping blocks to add rustic charm and a natural, earthy feel.

A ton of greenery, paired with a little taste of the summer harvest, brought the table to life and connected us to the season’s bounty.

One of the most important things to remember when setting a table outdoors, especially in a natural setting like this, is to draw inspiration from the surroundings.

Nature offers so much beauty and texture – the rich browns of the forest floor, the vibrant greens of the foliage, and the crisp air that makes everything feel fresh and alive.

This tablescape was all about embracing the earthy tones of green and brown, creating a harmonious blend with the outdoor environment.

It was a perfect way to celebrate the season and make our glamping experience even more special.
