Not every home has the huge, Instagram-perfect porch for holiday decorating—and that’s okay! You can still make a big impact with your apartment entryway by getting creative and working with what you have.
Here’s how I styled my festive doorway this year:
✨ Skip the nails. I used an extendable bathroom rod (yes, the kind for a shower curtain!) as the base for my decorations. After spray-painting it with a copper floral spray, it instantly looked festive and glittering. 🌿 Go for realistic greenery. I chose pre-made fern straps with a matte, rustic finish to keep the look natural and avoid anything too shiny or fake. I strapped them tightly to the rods using plastic straps for stability. 🎅 Add personal touches. To make it unique, I layered in pinecones, frosted accents, and my favorite little Santa figurine. These details echoed the look of the greenery and tied everything together. 🕯 Don’t forget the floor! Lanterns with ribbons, bells, and more pinecones completed the look, balancing the vertical decor with something grounded and cozy.
It’s proof that even a small space can feel festive and magical with the right details.
